Hot Maple Korean Chicken Tenders Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (24 to 26 ounces) frozen crispy chicken tenders
  • 3 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Maple Grove Farms Hot Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Arrange chicken on baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until crisp and they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, combine Gochujang, Maple Grove Farms Hot Maple Syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger in a small saucepan. Brink to a boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Reserve about 2 to 3 tablespoons sauce for dipping. Place the tenders in a large bowl and pour the remaining sauce over them. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds, cilantro and chopped green onions and serve with reserved sauce for dipping.
