Combine all ingredients except pork chops in a small bowl or glass measure.
Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the Maple Syrup mixture over pork chops and marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes to 3 hours. Reserve remaining marinade mixture.
Heat a 10-inch cast iron skillet or overproof skillet over medium-high heat. Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and sear about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Pour the reserved marinade over the pork chops.
Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until pork chops are desired doneness.
