Hot Maple Cast Iron Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Maple Grove Farms Hot Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Kosher salt
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops about ¾-inch thick

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except pork chops in a small bowl or glass measure.
  3. Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the Maple Syrup mixture over pork chops and marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes to 3 hours. Reserve remaining marinade mixture.
  4. Heat a 10-inch cast iron skillet or overproof skillet over medium-high heat. Place the pork chops in the hot skillet and sear about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Pour the reserved marinade over the pork chops.
  5. Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until pork chops are desired doneness.
  6. Garnish with additional rosemary. Serve pork chops with the pan sauce
