Funnel Cake Recipe

Create the mouthwatering treat known as a funnel cake by frying dough and topping it with powdered sugar.




  1. Whisk ¾ cup milk and eggs in large bowl. Whisk in Maple Grove Farms Pancake Mix until smooth. If batter is too thick to pour add additional milk.
  2. Add about 1-1/2 to 2 inches vegetable oil to deep skillet. Heat oil to 375°F.
  3. Add about ⅓ – ½ cup of batter to a liquid measuring cup. Slowly drizzle batter into oil in a thin stream, swirling and crisscrossing the batter over itself. Fry about 90 seconds on each side until golden brown. Remove funnel cake to a paper towel lined plate.
  4. Sprinkle generously with confectioners’ sugar and serve immediately.
