Bananas with Sugar Free Maple Syrup 
 
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
In bowl sift together flour, SPLENDA®, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. In separate bowl combine egg, milk, 1 tablespoon oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients until smooth. In deep frying pan heat 2 inches oil to medium-high heat (375ºF). Dip banana pieces into batter and fry a few at a time in the hot oil until golden on all sides. Drain on paper towels. Serve with warm Sugar Free Maple Syrup and sugar free ice cream.
